December continued

In Vince's walking video below, his hair is a mess and the living room is an obstacle course - evidence of how hard the boys were playing before I shot this video! I do try to keep Vince and the living room a bit cleaner than what you'll see here. :-) Also, we found out he's a little soccer player - he's actually really good! Notice that he always kicks with his left foot. hmmm Sorry this one is a little longer, I would cut it down if I knew how. I'll add that to my new years resolution list. :-) And last but not least, we got a few cute pictures at Christmas.

Enjoying his book on tools ~ Cuddling with Grandpa ~ Sweet little Santa boy calculating how much diapers are going to cost in the coming year ~ 1st picture with Santa! (didn't cry or smile, just had this bewildered look on his face) ~ Telling us some Christmas stories ~ Showing us his fish lips - for some reason he's been doing that a lot lately. :-)

We're looking forward to an even better 2010! Blessings to you for the new year!

Attempting to catch up....

In an effort to catch up ... Happy Halloween! Happy Thanksgiving! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! :-) Here is a quick review of our little cutie over the last few months.
I finally figured out how to make collages so I've posted some here. Apparently I have more to learn though because you should be able to click on the collage to make the pictures bigger but I wasn't able to do that when I previewed this. I'll figure it out and fix it later - sorry for the tiny pictures in the meantime!
Vince turned 1 in October! We had a great time celebrating with friends and family, and Vince had a great time eating his very first cake. The last year went by SO QUICKLY!!!
For Halloween we had 3 outfits to put him in - it was hard to choose just 1! We tried on a friend's pumpkin costume for some potential pumpkin patch pictures (never made it to a pumpkin patch though), then he wore the baseball player outfit to daycare, then for our office parties and Halloween night he wore his super cute dinosaur costume. So cute!! For Thanksgiving we made a trip to Idaho to see friends and family. We didn't take many pictures but we did get one of Vince in his Thanksgiving outfit with a little cheeseball smile.
And that brings us to a very eventful month - December! This little boy has been BUSY! He's been walking (while hanging onto our fingers) for quite a while now, but the day after we got home from Thankgiving he decided he can crawl and now he's all over the place! Then he started pushing a plastic bin and then his little push scooter thing all over the living room. One day he went right over to the stairs and started crawling up them - we didn't even practice that! Good thing Brian was right behind him because he slowly made it all the way up! It's so crazy that he's mobile now!
I'll have to post my other videos later, it seems this one may be getting too big.
Early in the month we had the pleasure of making our first trip to the ER - at 1 am! Vince came down with croup during the night and at midnight woke up struggling to breathe. That was a very scary night! Here's pics from the ER.

Ok, it's getting late so I'm going to post this, but I promise to finish off December soon!

August - trip to Idaho

Hi everyone! I am going to attempt to catch up so there will hopefully be a couple posts here in the next couple days. My last post was our first trip to the zoo with Vince, which was super fun. Later that month we went to Idaho to visit with family. I've got A TON of pictures from that trip so I'll try to summarize but this one's going to be a long one! :-)

1st Trip to the Zoo

A few weeks ago we went to the zoo with some friends. This was Vince's first trip to the zoo! He seemed to enjoy looking at the animals, although I'm sure he'll appreciate it more when he gets a bit older. He did really like the elephants though, I think those were probably his favorite of the day.
