Happy 6-month Birthday Vince!

I can't believe our little man is already 6 months old! Here are some cute pics of him enjoying his car ride to visit my family for the weekend. I'll post more pictures from last weekend later. We took him in for his 6 month check-up yesterday. He weighs 16 lbs 14 oz (40-45th percentile) and is 26 1/4" tall (50th percentile).

Vince rolled over!

I can hardly contain my excitement - Vince just rolled over on his own! We've been practicing on the bed when I'm lotioning him up - a.k.a. "infant massage". Today I just started snapping pictures in all of his cute nakedness and he rolled over! We practiced a few times and by the time I took this video he was getting pretty tired and was a little fussy, but that's ok. :-) YEA!!

Putting on a show

Vince has been doing this for quite a while, he just usually gets stage fright when the camera comes out. We were able to get this video the other night, it seems his changing table is his favorite place to perform. Something gets in him and he starts kicking and kicking, like he's riding a bicycle, and his face gets really serious. In this video he keeps sticking out his tongue (a new favorite) and he stops to make sure we're still watching. Stinking cute!! Hope you enjoy this! :-)

I don't know if Vince just realized something is in there or not, but lately he is ALWAYS sticking out his tongue. It's so cute - and really funny at the same time!

Cannon Beach

This last weekend we met my family in Cannon Beach and enjoyed playing games and watching the storms over the ocean. Each day we saw rain, snow, sleet, hail, wind, no wind, and sunshine! It was very fun actually - we mostly stayed inside and played games and played with Vince. Here are a few pictures from our weekend.

Vince enjoys his new swing. Here he's checking himself out in the mirror. This one has a mobile that moves so I think that'll keep his attention a little better than the one we were using before. Guess we'll have to wait and see the verdict though...

Do you know where the weight room is?

Last week I took Vince in for his 4 month pictures and snapped this one with my cell phone after the lady left. This outfit was of course for his daddy. When I see this picture I can't help but think of that line in Tommy Boy at the hotel where he flexes and asks the lady for directions to the weight room. :-)

Speaking of 4 months, Vince went in for his 4 mo appt on Feb 26 (sorry I'm so late with the update) and weighed 14 lbs 14 oz, 24.75 in long. That put him in the 50th percentile for weight and 30th for height.
